Templates

A template is a saved set of CuePoint Types. Build the types once, your departments, their colours, their order, and start every future show with them already in place.

Saving A Template

1. Set up your CuePoint Types the way you want them.

2. Choose File > Save Template… and give it a name.

Templates are kept in Documents/CuePoints/Templates.

Starting A New Project From A Template

The splash screen has a template dropdown next to your recent projects. Pick one and the new project opens with those CuePoint Types already there.

Adding A Template To A Project You've Already Started

Choose File > Load Template….

This adds to what you already have. Your existing CuePoint Types are kept, and the template's types are added alongside them. Load a template with types you already have and you'll end up with both sets.

If you want only the template's types, delete the ones you don't want after loading.
