Your projects are secret: the CuePoints application does not transmit any potentially confidential project data.

No analytic pixels or any other analytics are contained within the CuePoints application, and online crash reporting is an optional popup.

The only data transmitted from CuePoints is to our activation servers. Data contains license key details and machine identifiers strictly for licensing protection only; this data is encrypted before transmission.

The application needs to be connected to the internet to communicate with the license server at least once every 90 days.

The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified. Based on our International Client Base we have besides adhering to to the UK`s Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA), voluntarily adopted the EU`s General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

Where the processing of your personal information is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent without detriment at any time by contacting us.

The above rights may be limited in some circumstances, for example, if fulfilling your request would reveal personal information about another person, if you ask us to delete information which we are required to have by law, or if we have compelling legitimate interests to keep it. We will let you know if that is the case and will then only use your information for these purposes. You may also be unable to continue using our services if you want us to stop processing your personal information.

Children Data 
Our Service is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

Storage Of Access Data
Each time our website or service is accessed, access data is stored in a log file on our provider’s server.

This data record consists, for example, of your IP address, the date and time of the request, the name of the requested file, the amount of data transferred and the access status, a description of the web browser and operating system used and the name of your Internet service provider.

This data is collected for technical reasons. An evaluation takes place exclusively for statistical purposes and without personal reference (visitor numbers and page popularity). The data will be deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest.

Collection Of Personal Data For Informative Use
In the case of merely informational use of the website, i.e. if you do not use the website, register or otherwise transmit information to us, we do not collect any personal data, with the exception of the data mentioned, which your browser transmits in order to technically enable you to visit the website.

Retention Of Order data
If you submit data to CuePoints for an order, your data will be stored for as long as necessary for the processing of the purchase and mandatory according to the legal retention periods. 

The personal data provided to us from your above-mentioned details as well as the time of contacting you will be used exclusively for the purpose for which you provide them to us when contacting us – in particular the processing of your request. The information you provide will only be used to process your request. The data will not be used for other purposes or passed on to third parties without your express consent. 

Data Security
We secure our website and other systems through appropriate technical and organisational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorised persons. Despite regular checks, however, complete protection against all dangers is not possible.

Our website uses the industry standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) for encryption. This ensures the confidentiality of your personal information over the Internet. You can tell whether encrypted transmission is taking place by the closed key/lock symbol in your browser display.

Passing On Of Data

Storage Of Personal Data
Your data will be stored by us for as long as it is needed for the respective purposes underlying the processing. Beyond that, we only store data insofar as we are legally obligated to do so, e.g. due to statutory retention obligations.

Online presences in social media 
We maintain online presences on the basis of our legitimate interests within social networks and platforms in order to communicate with customers, interested parties and users who are active there. Unless otherwise stated in this policy, we process the data of users if they communicate with us within the social networks and platforms, e.g. write articles on our online presences or send us messages.

Economic Analyses and Market Research
In order to run our business economically, to identify market trends, customer and user wishes, we analyse the data available to us on business transactions, contracts, enquiries, etc. In doing so, we process inventory data, communication data, contract data, payment data, usage data, metadata, whereby the persons concerned include customers, interested parties, business partners, visitors and users of the online offer. The analyses are carried out for the purposes of business management evaluations, marketing and market research. 

In doing so, we may take into account the profiles of registered users with details, for example, of their purchasing transactions. The analyses serve us to increase user-friendliness, to optimise our offer and business efficiency and are not disclosed externally, unless they are anonymous analyses with summarised values.

If these analyses or profiles are personal, they will be deleted or made anonymous upon termination by the user, otherwise after two years from conclusion of the contract. In all other respects, the macroeconomic analyses and general trend determinations are prepared anonymously wherever possible.

This Privacy and Cookie Policy is valid as of 7 April 2021. It is the current and valid version of our privacy policy. However, we point out that from time to time due to actual or legal changes a revision to this Privacy and Cookie Policy may be necessary.
